In the 19th and 20th centuries, the coarse-ceramic industry flourished in northern and central Limburg, especially between Echt and Venlo. This industry was the beating heart of the region and had a profound influence on the economic and social development of the villages along the Meuse River. This route in Reuver tells the story of this historic industry, which is unfortunately disappearing more and more. It starts at the NS railway station in Reuver, where you can easily park. Along the way there are several places to eat and drink.
