Gnome trail De Pelen
Tiny footprints in the sand, wheel tracks from a wheelbarrow, crushed grass from an afternoon nap. And you may also see the occasional gnome dropping. Really! Gnomes are busy all day long. With what? Walking the gnome trail will tell you. Don't forget to look for gnome tracks along the way! And with a bit of luck, you might run into a real gnome.
At Buitencentrum De Pelen, Staatsbosbeheer has a backpack ready for you with the materials you need to search for gnomes. With a pointed hat on your head, you walk a 500-metre route. Along the way, you will listen to a story from the Gnome Folder and do gnome tasks. Along the way, look for the next gnome post for the correct route. As a souvenir, you will make your own nature painting, which you can put up at home. Afterwards, you can take the backpack and the materials home with you. Can you see the wooden gnome outside? He will show you the way. Have fun!
