The woods at the end of the route hide De Peel Air Force Base. No take-off or landing takes place here. The military does practice anti-aircraft work.
It is a beautiful walking route, which first leads through many woods and then through open heathland with lots of nature and beautiful views. In the woods, you may come across some animals, such as deer and hares.
