On the way, you will pass through the Schadijkse woods. These woods were created to prevent sand drifts. During the Second World War, the woods were a hiding place for many inhabitants of the surrounding villages. Further on the route you pass through the nature reserve de Paardekop. Here lies the highest sand plain in the Peel. Via a short country road, the route goes back to Veulen.
